History:
Completely built from scratch this bike has come to life after many different iterations. It was first built up with a Peugeot PF10 frame but I soon realised the geometry of the bike was not right for my purposes. So I started looking for touring frames and found this beautiful and sturdy Raleigh Royal. This my ultimate bike build, a bike that I can use on long rides, as well as in the city for commuting. I wanted to keep a classic look while using modern components. That is why I went all silver and polished, not only does it look gorgeous, it is also easier to clean. The transmission is a 2x10 after trying 3x10 I was not happy with the triple so I reverted to double and I am super happy with it. The shifters are quite unusual and are Gevenalle, they are downtube shifters mounted on the brake levers. Very easy to shift and easier to maintain than STI shifters. The derailleurs are Microshift, clean look and works super well.
